My friend Paul Thomas curated this show.  The idea was to have an exhibit of artists’ reactions/interpretations of the actual government issued anti-terrorism handbook.  For my part of the show I did a set of works that used stencils of images and texts from Ready.gov.  This was the first set of works of mine that extensively used stencils and marked it as an addition to my list of techniques I feel comfortable with.  The show also taught me how difficult it is to direct artists towards one goal.  Paul described it as “like herding cats.”
